New Drop off Location for Soles4Souls
Waterman Landing, Carnelian Bay, Ca 96140
Soles4Souls is an organization that collects shoes for the needy. According to Soles4Souls they have distributed product to people in need in over 125 counties on 5 continents. The organization has given away over 12 Million pairs of shoes through its five year history, currently delivering a pair every seven seconds.
If you would like to play a part in helping Soles4Souls, please donate new or used shoes. For a limited time shoes can be dropped off at The Waterman Landing located at 5166 N Lake Blvd Carnelian Bay, CA 96140, (530) 546-3590.
While you are there take a look at their menu which offers coffee, pastry and more. The new concession rents paddle boards and kayaks in the summer and the cafe will be 0pen year round.

Road Resurfacing project in the Highlands, Tahoe City 96145
Over the past week notices have been going up regarding the road project in the Highlands. On Friday the resurfacing was completed on Watson Drive and it looks great.

I have been routinely checking all the drop off boxes that I have place around the area and they are almost always full.
Just as a reminder you can drop off shoes at:
Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate in Tahoe City at 950 North Lake Blvd. (Near Asante’ Gym, which temporarily does not have a drop box.)

Lake Tahoe Concours D’Elegance 2011
Today I’m having an open house at my listing at 4990 North Lake Blvd. Carnelian Bay. (This property has since closed escrow)
If you would like to stop by you can also visit the wooden boat show just down the street at Sierra Boat Company.
I walked down to the boat show and took a couple photos, it seemed to be a good turnout. Lots of boats and lots of vendors.

Soles4Souls Shoes Collection Continues in Tahoe City
Just a reminder that Tahoe City’s- Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate and the local gym, Asante, both have collections Boxes for shoes.
The Truckee Tahoe Airport located at 10356 Truckee Airport Road, Truckee also has a box in their terminal.
If you go there to drop off your shoes you can see the progress of the construction of the new terminal. It is going to be wonderful.
