Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate and Coldwell Banker Real Estate join together to benefit the Marine Toys for Tots .

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate and Coldwell Banker Real Estate have combined their efforts to organize what is hoped to be the largest toy drive ever in Tahoe City.  The event was held at the Coldwell Banker down town Tahoe City office.  There was enough food and drinks to feed an army, in-fact there were a few Marines there giving a helping hand.toys for tots tahoe city ca

There was a beautiful Christmas tree fully decorated and well lit.  Santa showed up to hear all the kids read their Christmas lists and take a picture to remember the event for years to come.

If you would like to donate an unwrapped gift to Toys for Tots; you can drop them off at any of the Coldwell Banker or Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate offices in both Tahoe City and Truckee.

The Snow continues to fall in Tahoe City.

Snow removal in the Highlands, Tahoe City, CA

Yesterday the snow plows were out in full force preparing for the storm that came in last night. At lake level we have seen about  about 4 inches of fresh powder and it continues to snow. Forecasters are predicting 12 to 14 inches above 7000 feet.

Over A Foot of Snow In Tahoe City, Ca

This morning I woke-up to over a foot snow.

All this week the topic of the day was how much snow we would get this weekend. I heard talk of anywhere from one to four feet. So far all the rumors are coming true, but we’ll just have to wait and see what the rest of the weekend brings.

New Snow For Tahoe City

Forecasters are saying the next storm could bring 3 to 4 inches of snow an hour in some areas. This may accumulate to as much as 3 to 4 feet by Monday. Great news for our ski areas and local economy.
