This is a fantastic view looking south toward Mt.Tallac. People hike the mountain all year around. The real snow enthusiasts love it. At the base of the mountain is Fallen Leaf Lake. A pristine mountain lake with homes around it, some only accessible by boat. It is worth a visit for sure.
There is great hiking in the Lake Tahoe Basin, if you get a chance to hike up high and take in the view, it will take your breath away, if it isn’t already gone!
Flying over Lake Tahoe is one of the most impressive things to do here. The different colors in the lake tell of story of the different depths. The colors range from green to turquoise. This view is of the Tahoe City Marina and surrounding shops.
