Soles4Souls Shoes Collection Continues in Tahoe City
Just a reminder that Tahoe City’s- Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate and the local gym, Asante, both have collections Boxes for shoes.
The Truckee Tahoe Airport located at 10356 Truckee Airport Road, Truckee also has a box in their terminal.
If you go there to drop off your shoes you can see the progress of the construction of the new terminal. It is going to be wonderful.

Shirley Canyon Hike, Squaw Valley, Ca
We have been hearing about all the water in Shirley Canyon, so yesterday we decided to see it for ourselves.
We couldn’t believe how much water there was, the sound of it rushing was almost deafening.
There were several people taking advantage of the awesome weather to hike in.
All the snow this past winter has sure paid off. If you have an opportunity, I encourage you to come to Lake Tahoe and enjoy all the incredible outdoor activities there are to do.

Snow Flowers at Lake Tahoe
The Snow Flower also known as Snow Plant seems to be popping up all over the Tahoe basin. If you’ve never seen a snow flower or just taken them for granted, stop and take a close look, they are quite interesting. They seem to grow in shady areas where the ground is covered with pine needles. Here is a link to an interesting article I found about Snow Flowers.
