I walked down to the lake to check the lake level and I was amazed.
The water level is higher than I have ever seen it. There were people playing on the beach in the warm sand and in the cool water.

Soles4Souls Shoe Delivery
Thanks to the Lake Tahoe, Truckee and Reno residents who donated shoes over the past few months. The Trailer at the Tahoe Christian Center was busting at the seams, with the donated shoes.
It was time to deliver them to their next stop. A container in San Jose.
We were met by another volunteer named Mitch, who got us situated. We filled up the existing container and started filling a new one.
Needless to say, it was very rewarding work and it was nice to meet another volunteer.
