Visit their website for more info. There is also a restaurant on site. In the summer enjoy eating outdoors with the lake as your view.
Tahoe Vista also offers nice level access to the lake and lots of sandy beaches. In fact right across the street from the Spindleshank Restaurant is a beach called “Sandy Beach”. The North Tahoe Regional Park is located just alittle ways up from the lake on National Avenue and offers great access to trail heads for biking, hiking and nature walking, disc golf course and a community vegetable garden. You will also find a few baseball and soccer fields. The park offers bathrooms, picnic tables and a playground.
In addition to restaurants there is a large Safeway, also located at the corner of Highway 267 & Highway 28, for your grocery and pharmaceutical needs.
At the corner of Highway 267 is an area of beach access that has 3 sand volleyball courts, covered picnic area, which you can reserve, lots of grass to sit and picnic on, bathrooms, an informational kiosk and sandy beach.
