Part 3 – 10 Lakes Near Lake Tahoe…5 Lakes Hike
Granite Chief Wilderness area
Toni and I left the trail head at 5:30pm. The trail head is located near Bear Creek Road, in Alpine Meadows. It may have been a little late to start the hike but it was a warm day and the sun was just above the first ridge, which allowed for a cooler hike.
